The Start of Spring, the hours of light and dark are equal.  Light is overtaking the darkness.  The promise of rebirth has started.  Animals are giving birth and the first flowers of spring are emerging. This is a time for beginnings, plant your seeds for a magical herbal garden.  (seedlings can not be transplanted outdoors until late May).  It is still cold in our region so if can't walk through a field of wild flowers just yet, instead go to a local nursery and walk through the green house.  The air is warm and moist., you can smell the scents of the flowers and damp earth.  Make a few selections of flowers to bring home and place on your Altar to thank the Mother Goddess. Take the time to research the selection of flowers you have chosen,  find their symbolic meanings, (several herbal books in paper back for sale).  You may be surprised to find that it reveals your inner most thoughts.
